Avesta Receives Grant from MARF

PORTLAND - Avesta Housing was recently awarded a $3,200 grant from the Maine Association of Realtors Foundation (MARF) to pilot a unique landlord-driven program to help Avesta residents become homeowners. The program will provide assistance to residents seeking to become homeowners. Qualifying households may also be awarded grants towards down payment and closing costs. This program will not only help our residents meet their personal goals and dreams, but it will help free up apartments for other low-income families.
