Avesta Partners with Goodwill Development Corporation

PORTLAND - Goodwill Development Corporation has recently engaged Avesta to undertake an analysis of options for Goodwill’s existing property located at 79 High Street in Portland, known as Ingraham House. Goodwill sought Avesta’s advice regarding the possible rehabilitation of the facility, which is located in a historic district, or relocation of the program to a new site in Portland. The project currently provides a 12-unit residential and supported living program for people with mental retardation and/or development disabilities. A historic carriage house on the existing site is also being considered for additional housing units for individuals with brain injuries. Avesta is pleased to be collaborating with Goodwill Industries, which has provided valuable services to poor and vulnerable Mainers since 1933.
