Portland, MAINE, December 7 — Avesta Housing has recently hired several new staff members to its administrative, property management and finance departments.
In administration, Avesta hired Emily Kosnow and Abbie McEwen as Administrative Support Specialists. Kosnow has experience volunteering with immigrants and in the hospitality and health care industries. McEwen previously worked at AAA. Evelyne Rusagabandi was hired as a temporary Administrative Support Specialist. Rusagabandi previously served as an adviser to the Ministry of External Relations and International Cooperation in Burundi. Roger Redin has joined Avesta as Technology Support Specialist. Redin previously taught computer classes at the Community College of Rhode Island.
In property management, Avesta hired Darlene Stuart as a property manager. She has 10 years of experience in property management. Kayla Breese was also hired as a Resident Service Coordinator. Breese previously was the community organizer of the Maine Hunger Initiative for Preble Street.
In finance, Juana Morcillo Leganes was hired as an Accounting Specialist. Leganes has a Master's degree in Economics and Financial Management from CEF Madrid and previously worked as a Senior Project Accountant at ING Real Estate Development in London.
