TD Charitable Foundation Supports Avesta HomeOwnership Center with Donation

“Avesta appreciates the continued support of the TD Charitable Foundation,” said President and CEO Dana Totman. “This funding will help us create sustainable homeownership opportunities for Maine families and strengthen our communities.”
December 18, 2013, Portland, ME – The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, recently donated a total of $25,000 to the Avesta HomeOwnership Center as part of the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Launched in June 2012, the Avesta HomeOwnership Center helps families stabilize their housing costs and increase their economic self-sufficiency through home buyer education, housing and credit counseling, and foreclosure prevention. The center serves as a one-stop shop for individuals and families looking to buy their first home, improve the home they own or avoid foreclosure. The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will support the growth of the HomeOwnership Center.
