Portland, MAINE, April 2, 2014 — Resident artists with Bayside studio collective Running With Scissors will be showing their work Friday, April 4, from 5-8 p.m. at Oak Street Lofts gallery.
Running With Scissors is a diverse artist studio collective in the industrial and eclectic East Bayside neighborhood of Portland. It serves over 50 artists working in various mediums sharing equipment, space, community, ideas, support and tools. This community brings the resources and community together for artists to reach their independent creative goals. It is also the home of The Bayside Clay Center, a branch of RWS dedicated to clay with 11 resident members and 12 associate members.
Artists included in this exhibit are Resident Running With Scissors artists Anita Holt, Robert Nason, Meredy Hamilton, Peter Bucklin, Cindy Barnard and Joni Fox-Campbell. More information about these artists can be found at www.rwsartstudios.com.
