Mixed-media show happening Friday at Oak Street Lofts

"I love color, which is why I love to use paint, because I feel it has such a vibrant look to it.”

Portland, MAINE, May 1, 2014 — Artist Savannah Walz will be showing her work Friday, May 2, from 5-8 p.m. at Oak Street Lofts gallery.

The untitled, mixed-media show will include watercolor and gouache paintings, pen and marker drawings.  “I think creatively and openly in my art as I try to capture the meaning of the pieces,” says the artist. “Each piece has its own side, its own thought process that goes into it. I do my best as an artist to create my work with meaning, and that is why it is special to me. I love color, which is why I love to use paint, because I feel it has such a vibrant look to it.”
