Avesta Housing Announces Recent Promotions
Avesta Housing is pleased to announce recent promotions:
Ethan Boxer-Macomber has been promoted to Director of Acquisitions and Assets. Ethan has worked at Avesta Housing since 2006. In his new role, Ethan will be responsible for directing all activity related to acquisition of existing affordable housing developments. He will also oversee the organization’s internal asset management system. Mr. Boxer-Macomber earned a BS in Natural Resources and Ecology from the University of Maine, Orono and an MS in Community Planning and Development from the University of California, Davis. He is a certified land use planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a LEED Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Lori Doustou has been promoted to Director of Administration at Avesta Housing. Lori has been with Avesta Housing for fifteen years, most recently as Administrative Manager. Lori will be responsible for leadership of the Administrative, Information Technology and Human Resources divisions. Her past experience includes six years at the Cumberland County YMCA where she worked in HR, accounting, admin and membership.
Matthew Peters has been promoted to Development Officer at Avesta Housing. Matt joined Avesta Housing in 2010 as a Development Associate. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor. Prior to joining Avesta, Mr. Peters worked in Seattle for O’Brien & Company, a green building consulting firm, as a project assistant. Matt earned a B.A. in Geology from Bowdoin College and a M.S. in Urban Planning with a specialization in real estate development from the University of Washington in Seattle
Aldo Wilkins has been promoted to Senior Maintenance Technician. Al has been with Avesta Housing since 2008. Al’s worked for almost ten years as an independent contractor and owned his own business for ten years.
