ADVOCACY

One of Avesta Housing's most vital roles is that of a tireless advocate for affordable housing at both the state and national levels. We work on several fronts simultaneously: lobbying for the passage of strong legislation, pushing policy makers to make positive decisions about affordable housing, and securing resources for more housing opportunities. Locally, we strive to educate municipalities and their residents about the benefits of our programs, so they will welcome affordable housing into their communities.
