About the Project
Completed in 2015, One Meeting Place Apartments are 39 units of non age-restricted affordable housing to the The Meeting Place campus in Exeter, totaling 97 affordable housing units. The community fills a significant need for affordable housing in Exeter. A 2008 market study commissioned for The Meeting Place development noted that the area has limited available rental housing, particularly in the area of family assisted units. In addition, One Meeting Place provides residents with Avesta’s service-enriched housing through the assignment of a Resident Service Coordinator.
Service-enhanced housing involves integrating the community’s social service network into the building’s ongoing operation and management. These services can improve the quality of life of residents by working with residents on the skills to become and maintain their self-sufficiency.
