WESTBROOK (WGME) –- As the housing crisis continues, more units are going up in Maine.

Tuesday morning, New Ventures with Avesta Housing hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new housing community in Westbrook.

The Maple Grove housing development will be a mixed-income community for adults aged 55 and older.

Maple Grove is expected to have a total of 186 units with affordable, workforce and market rate homes.
