WESTBROOK, Maine — On Tuesday, New Ventures, led by real estate developer Jack Soley and builder Tim Hebert, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for a new apartment complex in Westbrook called Seavey Terraces.

The development will be built on 3.25 acres of land at 35 Seavey Street in Westbrook.

The groundbreaking will mark the start of Phase 1 of a three-phase project. Phase 1 will include 65 apartment units, the majority of which will be workforce housing units which will be priced below market rate.

Once complete, the development will include 186 units of affordable, market rate and workforce homes. New Ventures is partnering with Avesta Housing to complete the project.
