Avesta Housing President & CEO Rebecca Hatfield recently participated in a discussion on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for “MEREDA Matters,” a podcast by the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA). “If I can inspire even one Black child to believe in themselves when they see me as a leader, that’s positive,” Rebecca says. “I didn’t have a voice 25 or 30 years ago. I have a voice now.”
