Avesta Housing appoints new members to Board of Directors

Avesta Housing has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors:

Dr. Julia Redding is a board-certified physician in family medicine and geriatric medicine who has been practicing in the Portland area since 2012. She serves as a nursing home medical director for MaineHealth, provides care in assisted living facilities in southern Maine, and advocates for affordable health care as an appointed member of the Maine Prescription Drug Affordability Board. Julia is also co-owner of Goodfire Brewing Co. with her husband, and plays viola in the University of Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra.

Debra Orellana-Mejia co-owns E&D Painting LLC with her husband. She is also a Registered Nurse who has worked in the healthcare industry for many years, and has served as president of a church group, leading a group of 40 women.
