Construction of a 25-unit affordable housing complex for residents ages 55 and up in Farmington is 75% completed and is expected to welcome residents in early 2026.
The 20,278-square-foot Edgewater Village is an Avesta Housing project. All 25 apartments are one-bedroom and 576 square feet. Rents range from $851 to $972 and all utilities including air conditioning are covered in the lease rate.
Rod Harmon, communications manager at Portland-based Avesta, said this is the first Avesta affordable housing development in Farmington.
“There is a growing need for safe, quality, affordable homes for older adults in rural areas such as Farmington, and Avesta is committed to helping address that need.”
